The lobby is pleasant, the receptionists are nice and speak clearly. My wait time was not very long at all. The services that were rendered were done in a professional manner.
The horror stories from a young hygienist were very unnecessary. I was told if I didn’t have certain procedure done. I could end up with hypertension or get cancer. I’ve had cancer before, so it did not scare me into scheduling the suggested procedures right away. Rather, I contacted my insurance Provider and asked for Permission to get a second opinion. I did so and found from the following dental office that a root canal may not be necessary. A complete deep cleaning may not be necessary and I did not receive any horror stories.
My wife and children do go to modern dentistry and must have had a different hygienist that did not utilize horror stories to encourage them to schedule services ASAP.

My family and I have been going to Clear Lake Modern for years. They are friendly, fair, and do not try to sell you on things you don’t actually need. Priscilla the dental hygienist is especially kind and caring. I highly recommend Clear Lake Modern and My Kid’s Dentist which is right next door.
